Vote

Citizens in Dudswell and Cookshire-Eaton have organized debates in order to learn more about the intentions and visions of candidates in their municipalities. All the candidates seeking election in the municipality of Dudswell are invited to participate in a debate on Tuesday, October 17, at 7 p.m., in the Marbleton Community Centre. In Cookshire-Eaton, candidates specifically for the position of mayor will participate in the event on Monday, October 23, at 7 p.m., in the Guy-Veilleux Hall.
In Dudswell, the Association des riverains de la rivière Saint-François-Dudswell, the Lac Miroir residents’ corporation, and the Association Protectrice du Lac d’Argent have joined forces to prepare the debate, which will be open to the public.
Three themes will be addressed during the evening. The first theme is the environment, especially water quality and garbage management. Second is the road system, notably the maintenance of public and private roads. The third theme concerns the question of municipal development, including commercial, family and cultural aspects. All the candidates will be invited to speak about these subjects. As well, time will be allotted to people in the hall who wish to address questions to the candidates for the position of mayor.
